      WEDDING: Walton Reporter, March 1894: On Tuesday evening, March 20, 1894, a very pleasant wedding took place at Cyrus Budine's at Pine's Brook. The contracting parties were Mr. Burton Budine of Walton and Miss Fannie Williams of Hancock. At 9:30 o'clock the groom entered the room with Mr. Leslie Budine as best man followed by the bride with Miss Viola Gilbert as bridesmaid. The ceremony was performed in a few solemn words by Rev. E.H. Roys, after which the many friends numbering about 150 congratulated them. Then supper was served to all and a very pleasant time was enjoyed. The couple will take no wedding tour and will make their home in Walton for the present. There were many valuable presents consisting of silver and crystal ware.
        CHILD ROBERT’S DEATH: We want to express our sincere thanks to all our friends and neighbors who helped us in any way during the sickness and death of our darling baby, Robert; also for the singers, Rev. Walker for his comforting words; for the beautiful flowers and Mr. Holmes and Dr. Gladstone. Mr. and Mrs. Burton Budine and family, Harry Budine and family, Leroy Budine and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Budine. Died of Coronary Thrombosis. Buried in Walton, NY Cemetery.
        OBITUARY: Walton Reporter, June 1937: Burton Budine passed away [Coronary thrombosis - Chronic valvular disease of the heart]Friday morning, June 18, at the home of his son, Raymond Budine, Walton, where he had made his home since the death of his wife. He was born March 20, 1873, and on March 20, 1894, was married to Fanny Williams, who died May 15, 1927. He is survived by seven sons; Harry, Leroy, Raymond, Sheldon, Paul, Clifton and Burtis, and one daughter, Christina, and one brother, Leslie, and a half-brother, Herman. One son, Robert, and a daughter, Ethel, died in infancy. He will long be remembered as a kind and loving father and also by the many friends who knew him. The funeral services were held Sunday at his home, Rev. Frank Lathom officiating and burial was made in Walton cemetery beside his wife.

Individual Note:
     William is buried in the I.O.O.F. cemetery, Milton-Freewater, Oregon. According to 1880 US census, 18-year-old William, page 6, family 63, lived with brothers John and James next to family 62, parents W.S. and Rachel Frazier. He was a single farmer born in Texas. His father was born in N.C. and his mother was born in Alabama.
