Individual Note:
     Steven graduated 1981 from Greene Central High School, Greene, NY. He received his BA degree 26 May 1985? at Colgate University's 164th commencement, where he concentrated in English. His college undergraduate activities included University Chorus, Chamber Singers, Sojourners, Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship (president) and residential advising. After Colgate, he attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in S. Hamilton, Mass. Steven and Deborah divorced in 2000. He remarried in 2003, this time to Shannon. He has pastored a church in Hawaii and in Genoa, Ohio.

Jon Robert (Jackie) was born 5 May 1947 and died 15 Jan 1954. Norman Robert was born 30 Jan 1949.

Individual Note:
     According to the June 9, 1860 Federal census, Major, age 45, lived in the Maurice River Township, Cumberland County, NJ with his wife Elizabeth (43) and children Francis O. (17), Ludlan M. (15), Lizzie Jane (9), Alfred R. (7), Lydia A. (5), Nathan B. (3), and Edgar (born March 12, 1860). Also living in the home was Abigail H. Tomlin, age 17, who may have been a live-in helper. Major's occupation was listed as Master Seaman with real estate valued at $4000 and a personal estate of $3500. His family was #113 numbered in the order of visitation.
