     Marcus' last name is written as "Bodine" in the 1880 Census of Walton, New York (page 28 dwelling 249 family 257). He is 49. Isabelle is 29. And William is 15. Marcus is a farmer. All were born NY, including parents of Marcus and Isabelle. She is only 29 and son William is 15.

     OBITUARY:
        Died at age 77 (Walton Reporter April 1918)
        (Walton Reporter) Harvey Beagle died Tuesday, April 2, at his home on Prospect Avenue. Mr. Beagle was 77 years of age and death was due to the infirmities of old age.
        The funeral service was held Thursday at the house, conducted by Rev. G.M. McKnight. Ben Marvin Post, G.A.R., of which Mr. Beagle was a member, had charge of the services at the grave. Mr. Beagle served in the Civil War in Company A, 101st New York Regiment. He is survived by two sons, Silas J. Beagle of Wal­ton, Ephraim Beagle of West Brook, and one daughter, Mrs. Austin Owens of Walton; also by one sister Mrs. Martha McCall of Walton and three brothers, George of Binghamton, Levi of Weed’s Bridge and Melvin of Ox­bow Hollow. Mr. Beagle was a retired farmer and for many years occupied farms at Oxbow Hollow and Weed’s Bridge.

     Martin and Hannah moved to Windsor, NY in the late 1860s. They had four children according to Darci Randall Ridolfi. However she identified only Moses, the eldest, Phoebe as second child (Darci’s great-grandmother), and Charles as the youngest child. Birth and death dates probably came from his tombstone. He is listed as Martin Budine in the 1880 Census of Windsor, Broome Co., NY.

     In 1865, there is a John Bodine listed in the military service from Walton, Delaware County, NY. He is 26 and married. That could very well be this John Bodine. He is a farmer and head of a household in the 1865 info.
