Note for: James Frazier, 1800 - 1866
Index
Individual Note: FROM HTTP://MUSEUM.BMI.NET: James was undoubtedly married before his marriage to Minerva Neal, as he had six children before his marriage to Minerva in 1839. This marriage is shown in the index of Granville County, TN Marriages 1753 - 1868, but the only other marriage to a James Frazier is to a Mary Hunt, 8th July 1828. As William Samuel is born in 1823, we don't know if this is likely.
The U.S. 1850 Census says James & family lived at dwelling #28, family #28 (page 211) in the 9th Civil District of Hardin County, Tenn. Also living with them were nine children, ages 1-19.
